Overview
Forms can accept more than photos. In addition to JPG and PNG images, a form field can also accept video and PDF attachments, so a worker can capture more detail directly from the field, whether that's a walkthrough video of a hazard or a scanned document.
Attachment fields are configured on desktop, and used by workers to attach files on mobile.

Add or Update an Attachment Field
- Open the form template you want to update.
- Add a new field, or open an existing photo attachment field to edit it.
- Select the Media tab, then choose the attachment field type.
- Save your changes to the form template.
Note: Existing photo attachment fields don't need to be replaced. Edit the existing field from the Media tab if you want it to also accept PDF or video files.
Supported File Types and Size Limits
Salus supports the following file types as form attachments: AVI, JPEG, JPG, MOV, MP4, PDF, and PNG.
- Videos: up to 50 MB
- PDFs: up to 5 MB
- Images: no size restriction
Tip: For larger files, upload to the Documents module instead and reference them from there.
What Happens Next
Once a field has been updated, workers filling out that form on mobile will see the option to attach a photo, video, or PDF, depending on what the field was configured to accept. Files over the size limit for their type are rejected, with a prompt to use a smaller file or the Documents module instead.
