Share Forms with Unsubscribed Subcontractors
The Share with Subcontractors setting lets you push specific forms to unsubscribed subcontractors connected to your company. Once enabled, those forms appear in the subcontractor's New Form list automatically, with no manual distribution required.
This setting only affects unsubscribed subcontractors. It has no impact on subscribed Salus users in your network.
Share an existing form
- Open Forms and select Library.
- Open the form you want to share and click Edit.
- Check the Share with Subcontractors checkbox.
- Click Save to publish the change.
Share a new form
- Open Forms and select Library.
- Click Create Form.
- Build your form, then check the Share with Subcontractors checkbox.
- Click Publish to make the form available to your subcontractors.
What happens next
Once you save or publish with the checkbox enabled:
- The form appears in the New Form list for all unsubscribed subcontractors connected to your company.
- Any future edits you make to the form are applied automatically for your subcontractors. They always see the latest version.
- If a subcontractor works with multiple Prime companies and receives forms from more than one, the Prime company name appears beside each form in the list so they can identify the right one.
- Subscribed Salus users in your network are not affected by this setting.
Note: Subcontractors will only see shared forms when starting a new form. They cannot access your full form library.
Frequently Asked Questions
I don't see the Share with Subcontractors checkbox. What should I do?
This feature may not be enabled on your account. Contact Salus Support or your CSM if you have one assigned.
Will this affect my subscribed subcontractors?
No. The Share with Subcontractors setting only applies to unsubscribed subcontractors. Subscribed Salus users in your network are not affected.
If I update a shared form, do subcontractors see the changes?
Yes. Any edits you make to a shared form are applied automatically. Subcontractors always see the current version.
Can I share only some forms, not all of them?
Yes. The checkbox is set per form. Enable it only on the forms you want to share. Unshared forms remain private to your company.
My subcontractor works with multiple Prime companies. Which forms will they see?
They will see shared forms from every Prime that has enabled the setting for them. If two Primes share a form with the same name and type, the Prime company name appears beside each form so the subcontractor can choose the correct one.
Can subcontractors access my full form library?
No. Subcontractors only see the specific forms you have shared, and only when starting a new form. They cannot browse your library.
