Overview
Linking Company Orientations to Site Orientations lets you enforce company-wide training requirements without making workers repeat the same training at every site.
When a Company Orientation is linked:
Workers must complete the Company Orientation to be considered oriented for the site
Once completed, it’s automatically recognized for other sites that use it
It’s only required again if the Company Orientation expires
How Linking Works (Worker Experience)
When a Site Orientation includes a Company Orientation:
The Company Orientation appears as an item in the Site Orientation
Tapping/clicking that item takes the worker into the Company Orientation flow
If the worker has already completed the Company Orientation and it’s still valid, it will appear automatically marked as completed inside the Site Orientation, and the worker can move on to the site-specific items
When a Company Orientation Is Required Again
If the linked Company Orientation expires:
It becomes required again
The next time a worker tries to complete a Site Orientation that includes it, they will be prompted to complete the Company Orientation again before finishing the site orientation
Link a Company Orientation to a Site Orientation
Linking is done while creating or editing a Site Orientation, in the Orientation Items step.
Step-by-step
Navigate to: Orientations
Create a new Site Orientation or click Edit on an existing Site Orientation
In the Site Orientation builder, go to Orientation Items
Click the blue Add Item button
