The Workers area is your central hub for managing everyone in your company. From here you can add new workers, view and edit their profiles, manage their status, and configure the roles that control what each person can access on the platform.
Note: Each worker has one profile, regardless of how many sites they are assigned to. All of their forms, certificates, and documents are stored under that single profile. Use filters and sorting to find what you need.
Workers Tabs
The Workers area is organized into four tabs.
Active
Lists all currently active workers in your company. From this tab you can:
- Export your worker list as an Excel file.
- Invite Worker to add someone who already has a Salus account.
- Create Worker to create a new Salus account for someone.
- Open any worker's profile to view and edit their certificates, forms, documents, notes, settings, site access, and company access.
For more information, see Add a worker and View and edit a worker's details.
Invited
Lists workers who have been sent an invitation but have not yet accepted it. Use this tab to track pending invitations.
Deactivated
Lists workers who have been deactivated. Their profiles and records are retained but they no longer have active access to the platform. Workers can be reactivated from this tab.
For more information, see Deactivate/Reactivate a Worker.
Roles
Lists all roles defined for your company. Roles control what each worker can see and do on the platform. From this tab you can add new roles and edit existing ones.
For more information, see Roles.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Invite Worker and Create Worker?
Use Invite Worker when the person already has a Salus account. Use Create Worker to set up a brand new Salus account for them.
Where do I find workers who haven't responded to their invitation yet?
Open the Invited tab. Workers remain there until they accept the invitation, at which point they move to the Active tab.
If I deactivate a worker, do I lose their records?
No. Deactivating a worker removes their platform access but keeps all of their forms, certificates, and documents intact. You can find them on the Deactivated tab and reactivate them at any time.
What does a worker's profile contain?
Each worker profile contains tabs for Certificates, Forms, Documents, Notes, Settings, Site Access, and Company Access.
What are Roles and why do they matter?
Roles determine what each worker can see and do on the platform. Every worker must be assigned a role. You can create and manage roles from the Roles tab. See the Roles article for a full explanation of permission levels.
A worker is assigned to multiple sites. Where do I find all their paperwork?
Everything is stored under their single profile. Open their profile from the Active tab and use the filters to narrow down by site, form type, or date.
