Overview

With the latest update to the Roles system in SALUS you now have the ability to create as many roles as you want, name them whatever you want and assign them to your workers. This article will explain how this new system works and walk you through how to use it.

Permission Levels

Every role you create in SALUS needs to be assigned to one of the four existing Permission Levels. See below for names and descriptions of these different levels.

Full Access

  • Grants full visibility into all sites and workers in your company
  • Offers capabilities for customization and day to day administration of the platform

Site Access

  • Grants full visibility into only the sites the profile has been added to
  • Site management capabilities including workers, subcontractors (when applicable)

Own Access

  • Provides access to own profile only
  • Visibility into all forms signed or submitted by own profile but nobody else

Limited Access

  • No access to company functionalities

How to Create a Role

Default Role

When adding a new profile to the system manually, you will be required to select one of your roles from a dropdown. However, when a profile is created via other means, the system needs to know what role to assign it to. The Default Role will be the role that gets assigned to a profile when it is created through any of the following workflows:

  1. Profiles created by a worker as a result of scanning a QR code
  2. Profiles created as a result of entering a company code
  3. Profiles created via SSO (single sign-on) integration
