Update Asset Profile Image

Update Asset Profile Image

Overview

Each asset in Salus displays a profile image that helps workers identify it at a glance. You can update this image at any time from the asset's detail page in the mobile app, using your device's camera or an existing photo from your gallery.

Steps

  1. Tap My Toolkit in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Tap Assets.
  3. On the Select an Asset Type screen, tap the asset type you want. Use Search Asset Types to narrow the list.
  4. Tap the specific asset from the Assets list.
  5. On the Asset Detail screen, tap the asset profile image in the top left corner.

A menu appears with two options under Upload Asset Photo:

  • Camera: Opens your device's camera so you can take a new photo of the asset.
  • Gallery: Opens your device's photo gallery so you can select an existing image.
  1. Tap Camera or Gallery, then select or take the photo you want to use.

The asset profile image updates immediately. The new image appears on the Asset Detail screen and in the asset list.

Frequently Asked Questions

I tapped the asset image but nothing happened. What's wrong?

You may not have the permissions needed to update asset images. Contact your Salus admin to confirm your account has the correct access level.

Can I remove the asset image without replacing it?

No. The upload menu only allows you to replace the current image with a new one. To remove it entirely, you would need to upload a blank or placeholder image instead.

What image formats are supported?

Salus accepts standard photo formats from your device's camera and gallery, including JPG and PNG.
