View Asset Profiles

Overview

Each asset in Salus has a profile that brings together all the information related to that piece of equipment in one place. From an asset's profile you can view its details and status, access its submitted forms, log entries, maintenance records, and associated documents, and update its profile image.

Getting There

My Toolkit › Assets › [Asset Type] › [Asset Name]
  1. Tap My Toolkit in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Tap Assets.
  3. On the Select an Asset Type screen, tap the asset type you want. Use Search Asset Types to narrow the list.
  4. Tap the specific asset from the Assets list. Use Search Assets to find it quickly.

What the Asset Profile Shows

The Asset Detail screen is organised into collapsible sections at the top and a set of action items below. Each information section has an arrow icon on the right. Tap the section header or the arrow to expand it and view its contents.

Information sections

  • Details: Core asset information including Year, Model, VIN, and Notes. Tap the arrow to expand.
  • Current Status: The asset's latest operational readings: Hours, Kilometres, and whether Maintenance is Required. Tap the arrow to expand.
  • Last Checked In: The location and time of the asset's most recent check-in. Tap the arrow to expand.
  • Additional Information: Any supplementary details configured for this asset by your admin. Tap the arrow to expand.

Action items

  • Forms: View forms submitted for this asset. See View Submitted Forms.
  • Logs: View and create log entries for this asset. See View and Create Log Entries.
  • Maintenance: View maintenance records associated with this asset.
  • Documents: View documents associated with this asset.

Tip: To update the asset's profile image, tap the asset photo in the top left corner of the Asset Detail screen. See Update Asset Profile Image for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

I can't find the asset I'm looking for. What should I do?

Use the Search Assets field on the Assets list screen to search by name. If the asset still doesn't appear, you may not have access to it, or it may not have been created yet. Contact your Salus admin.

The information sections are collapsed. How do I see the details?

Tap the arrow icon on the right side of the section header to expand it. You can tap the same arrow again to collapse it.

Can I edit asset details from the mobile app?

Asset profile details are managed from the Salus desktop app. On mobile you can view details, submit forms, create log entries, and update the profile image.
