AI Data & Privacy

Your Data Stays Private. That’s Not a Promise.  It’s How We’re Built.

When you choose a platform that integrates artificial intelligence into your day-to-day operations, trust isn’t optional., it’s everything. You’re not just adopting a tool; you’re inviting technology into the heart of your workflows, your teams, and your data.

At SALUS, we understand that. And we want you to know exactly how we protect what matters most to you.

AI That Works Within Your Rules, Not Around Them

SALUS Safety Assistant is not a standalone AI product bolted onto an existing system. It is built directly into the enterprise-grade SALUS platform from the ground up. That distinction matters enormously.

Every AI feature in SALUS operates under the same access controls and data policies that govern the core platform. There are no shortcuts, no back doors, and no exceptions for AI. The permissions your organization has defined by user, by role, by site, and by company, apply just as strictly to AI-driven interactions as they do to any other part of the system.

In short: if a user doesn’t have access to certain data in SALUS, the AI doesn’t either.

What We Mean by Data Privacy, in Plain Terms

We know that “data privacy” can feel like an abstract concept filled with technical jargon. Here is what it means for you, practically speaking:

  • No unauthorized data access via AI. The AI will never access, surface, or act on data that a user is not already permitted to see. Your permissions infrastructure is fully respected.
  • Your data does not train AI models. The large language models (LLMs) that power SALUS AI are contractually and technically prohibited from using your data to improve or train themselves. What happens in your environment stays in your environment.
  • Only what is necessary is ever transmitted. When data needs to be processed by AI systems, we apply a minimum-necessary principle. Only the data required to perform a specific task is transmitted, and it is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Third-party processors are held to our standards. Where SALUS works with third-party processors to deliver AI capabilities, those partners are SOC 2–audited and bound by the same rigorous data handling standards we maintain.

Security You Can Verify, Not Just Trust

We believe in accountability, not just assurances. The SALUS platform undergoes rigorous SOC 2 audits, providing independent, third-party verification that our security controls, processes, and systems meet industry-leading standards. This isn’t a box we check once, it’s an ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest level of operational integrity.

For customers who want to go deeper, our Trust Portal provides detailed information about our security practices, compliance certifications, and data handling policies. Transparency is a core part of how we operate.

The SALUS Difference

Many AI tools are built for speed-to-market, adding enterprise features as an afterthought. SALUS IQ takes the opposite approach. It was designed for enterprise environments from day one, where compliance, governance, and data security are not optional features — they are foundational requirements.

This means you can adopt AI capabilities with confidence, knowing that your organization’s data governance policies are not being compromised in the name of innovation.
