Actions tracks every corrective action item created when workers complete forms or submit corrective actions in Salus Mobile. Everything lives in one place for the length of the project, so you can see what still needs attention and what's already handled.
Use Actions to follow up on overdue items, check on subcontractor progress, and keep a clean record of corrective work across every site.
The Four Tabs
Submitted
Shows every action item for your company that isn't archived. Filter by status, type, site, date range, or assignee to narrow the list down.
Subcontractor
Shows action items assigned to your subcontractors across your sites. Filter the same way you would in Submitted, plus filter by specific subcontractor.
Types
Customize the list of action item types that appear when someone creates a new action item. Add or edit types here to keep them consistent across your company.
Archived
Shows every action item that's been archived. Archiving doesn't delete an item, it just moves it out of your active tabs so your working views stay focused on what still needs attention.
Archiving an Action Item
- Open the Submitted or Subcontractor tab and find the action item you want to archive.
- Click the archive option on the right side of that row.
Note: Archiving doesn't ask for confirmation. The item moves to the Archived tab as soon as you click.
Restoring an Archived Action Item
- Click the Archived tab.
- Find the action item you want to restore.
- Click the unarchive option on that row.
Once restored, the item moves back to the Submitted or Subcontractor tab, depending on who it's assigned to.
What Else You Can Do in Actions
- Create a new action item.
- View the details of an existing action item.
- Add comments to an action item to show progress.
- Change an action item's status to Completed.
- Change or add who an action item is assigned to, including workers or subcontractors.
Note: Any changes to an action item automatically notify the people assigned to it.
What Happens Next
When you archive an action item, it disappears immediately from Submitted or Subcontractor and appears in the Archived tab. Nothing about the item is deleted, its history, comments, and assignment all stay intact. You can restore it at any time from the Archived tab.
Frequently Asked Questions
What's the difference between the Submitted and Subcontractor tabs?
Submitted shows all non-archived action items for your company. Subcontractor shows only the ones assigned to your subcontractors, with an added filter for which subcontractor.
Does archiving an action item delete it?
No. Archiving only moves the item out of your active tabs. All of its details, comments, and history stay exactly as they were, and you can restore it from the Archived tab at any time.
Do I need to confirm before archiving an item?
No. Clicking the archive option moves the item right away, with no confirmation step.
Why can't I see all the action items my company has created?
What you see depends on your permission level. Full Access sees everything company-wide. Site Access sees action items from their assigned sites. Own Access sees only action items assigned to them or shared with them.
Where do I add or edit the types of action items available?
Use the Types tab. Any type you add or edit there becomes available when creating a new action item.
Can I restore an action item after archiving it?
Yes. Open the Archived tab, find the item, and click the unarchive option on its row. It moves back to Submitted or Subcontractor.
