User Roles/Permissions

There are five user roles on the Salus platform:

  • Company Admin
Platform administrator with visibility and permissions to access and administer any part of the Salus platform.

  •  Worker
Base level access to the Salus platform provides users the ability to access forms, documents, assets and certificate features to view, fill-in, upload or sign. While workers can access all form templates on the platform, their visibility is restricted to their own created or completed forms, as well as those shared with them.

  • Temporary Worker
A role set up for tracking purposes only. Creating a temporary worker profile, uses that profile as a mechanism to represent a worker - without the intention of the actual worker accessing the platform themselves.  This means no login or password is created.

Note: If this changes and the worker accesses the platform via the mobile app, their role must be changed from a Temporary Worker to a standard Worker.

  • Foreman
A Foreman has the same access as a Worker, in addition they’re able to see all workers of a company and assign them to work sites (that the Foreman has access to). A Foreman is also able to see all submitted/ completed forms associated with their work sites, and those submitted by subcontractors. Additionally, Foreman has access to employee contact information.

  • Safety Advisor
A Safety Advisor has the same access as a Worker, in addition they’re able to see all submitted/completed forms in the system.
