Check In Overview
Check In lets you check yourself, or other workers, in and out of a site directly from Salus Mobile.
Permissions
Every worker can view and check themselves in and out of their own profile. Workers with Site Access or Full Access can additionally view every worker checked in or out on their sites, and check other workers in or out on their behalf.
Interface
Tap into a site, then tap Check In to open its worker list.
Search bar
Search by worker name.
Never Checked In / Checked In toggle
Never Checked In lists workers who haven't checked in to this site yet. Tap Check In next to a name to check them in, this is also how you check yourself in. Checked In lists workers currently checked in. Tap Check Out next to a name to check them out.
Orientation status icons
Next to a worker's name, an icon shows their orientation progress for that site: a red "i" means Not Started, an orange document means In Progress, and a blue checkmark means Completed.
Note: If a worker doesn't check out manually, Salus automatically checks them out after a period of inactivity. The exact trigger for this hasn't been consistently confirmed across documentation, treat 16 hours after check-in as the reliable baseline, and encourage manual check-out for accurate records.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I see who's checked in across all my sites at once?
Check In is scoped to one site at a time. Open the specific site you want to check, then tap Check In.
Why can't I check in another worker?
You need Site Access or Full Access to check in workers other than yourself. With Own Access, you can only check yourself in and out.
What do the icons next to a worker's name mean?
They show that worker's Orientation status for the site: red means Not Started, orange means In Progress, and blue means Completed.
Will I get automatically checked out if I forget?
Yes, eventually, but don't rely on it. Check yourself out manually whenever possible to keep site attendance records accurate.
