August was a month of things getting simpler. The rebuilt mobile home screen came out from behind its beta flag and retired the inbox, Rosie moved down the org chart to site access users, and form actions became something you configure per field rather than take as they come. Underneath all of that, a long backlog of form, orientation and subcontractor bugs got cleared.

Nothing matches this filter.

Headline features

The new mobile home screen, for everyone

Mobile

The rebuilt home screen is now on for all users rather than sitting behind a beta flag, and it brings forms, actions and messages that need your attention into one place. The inbox screen is retired โ€” everything it did now lives on the home screen.

Rosie for site access users

Rosie

Rosie is now available to site access users on web and in the mobile app, not just to office roles. This is activated per company, so reach out to your Salus contact if you'd like it turned on for your crews.

Reusable orientation QR code templates

Web

Build an orientation QR code once as a template and have it applied automatically whenever a new site is created, instead of setting the same codes up site by site.

Action flags on any form field

Web

Configurable in-form actions have moved from Early Access to everyone. In a field's Edit Field settings, "Enable Action Flag" controls whether the flag appears at all, and setting Visibility Type to "Logic" shows it only when a rule you define is met โ€” selected, has a value, equals something. You can also require at least one action before the form can be submitted, which applies whenever the flag is visible.

Rosie assigns workers from a CSV

Rosie

Hand Rosie a CSV of your site worker assignments and she'll associate each worker with the right site, instead of you working through them one at a time.

Improvements

Aug 13

Assign a document folder to several sites at once

When assigning document folders to sites you can now select more than one at a time.

Web

Aug 18

Archive scanned and PDF forms

Company owners can archive scanned and PDF forms. They move to the Archived tab and can be recovered, matching how draft and submitted forms already behaved.

Web

Aug 21

Downloaded forms are named usefully

A form downloaded as a PDF now includes the submission date and the site name in its file name, not just the form name.

Web

Aug 28

License plate field on asset profiles

Asset profiles have a new field for storing a license plate.

Web

Aug 21

The action window opens itself

When a field has action logic set and the action is required, entering a value that meets the logic opens the action window straight away. Marking an action required is now offered only when its visibility is set to Logic.

Web

Aug 4

Inline actions show their priority

Actions shown beside the field they were created on now display the action's priority alongside the rest of its detail.

Web

Aug 21

Corrective action rules on web match the app

Creating a corrective action from the feed or from a form now follows the same rules on web as on iOS, including which fields are required and how the site and recipients are determined.

Web

Aug 21

Join a company with a work email

A worker who signs up without a company can now choose "Use Work Emails" and enter their work email and company name instead of a company code. A verification code merges the new sign-up into their existing account.

Web

Aug 11

Adding a phone number reclaims an orphaned account

When an admin adds a phone number that already belongs to an account with no company, no submissions and no signatures, the two are merged automatically rather than leaving a duplicate worker behind.

Web

Aug 18

Text fields in tables render consistently

Text fields inside a table now render the same way in the app and on web.

Web

Aug 11

Rosie's thinking collapses into one row

Rosie's intermediate steps now collapse into a single live row you can expand when you want the detail. A setting, "Collapse thinking into one row", is on by default and can be switched off.

Rosie

Aug 13

A reworked chat bar

The chat input moved from a cramped horizontal layout to a vertical one that holds up on small screens, and the bar animates while Rosie is working so it's clear when she's finished.

Rosie

Aug 19

Recent tasks and prompt chips

A row of recent tasks and a set of prompt chips sit under the chat bar, so a previous task or a starting prompt is one click away.

Rosie

Aug 26

An output gallery

Rosie's past outputs appear as thumbnails, newest first, labelled with the task and when it ran. Opening one shows the output with view and download options, or reopens the chat it came from.

Rosie

Aug 28

Run status and progress

Agent tasks show their status and a progress bar while they run.

Rosie

Aug 28

Drag and drop into chat

Files can be dragged straight into the Rosie chat.

Under the hood

No change you'll see, but a lot of ground covered: a large TypeScript migration across the web portal โ€” 49 components โ€” along with a console warning cleanup and a design system pass on button states. Dependencies are now pinned and scanned for known vulnerabilities in CI, the API layer got a round of security hardening, and infrastructure work went into deploy stability, database disk pressure and CPU headroom for the AI services. On Rosie's side, model failover, document embedding on dense pages and document search for agent runs all got more reliable, and the data model gained groundwork for recording who requested a signature.

This article covers customer-facing changes with a completion date in August 2026. Internal tooling, infrastructure and security work is summarised under "Under the hood" rather than listed. Dates are when the work was completed, which may be slightly ahead of when it reached your account.
