Salus Release Notes
Certificate expiry notifications became yours to customize, a new form builder went into beta with Rosie reviewing your templates, QR codes became reusable across new sites, and actions moved beside the fields that raised them — plus 76 fixes.
July was a month of long-standing requests landing. Certificate expiry emails became fully configurable through webhooks, the third-generation form builder opened to Early Access with Rosie able to review a template on request, and QR code setup stopped being something you repeat for every new site. Behind that, the biggest single push of the month was a sweeping authorization review across the API.

Headline features
Customize certificate expiry notifications
Web
Certificate expiry emails are now yours to shape. Build a webhook that emails specific people, specific roles, or the certificate holders themselves, and set it to fire on expiry or at 30, 60 and 90 days out. This is the request customers have been making for a long time, and it is now configurable per certificate.
The new form builder, in beta
Early Access
The third generation of the Salus form builder is available to Early Access users, with a substantially reworked interface. More form builder capability is still to come.
Rosie reviews your form templates
Early Access
Rosie can check a form template for you. In the new form builder, open the AI Review tab on the left and click AI Review; she identifies potential issues and inefficiencies in how the template was built. Some she can fix with a click, others she flags for you to correct yourself.
Subcontractors can pick your documents
Web
Prime contractors can let subcontractors select documents from the prime contractor's company inside a form. Turn it on in the configuration for a document selection field, on a new or existing form template.
QR code templates for new sites
Web
Set up a QR code once as a template, filter it by site tags if you need to, and it is created and attached automatically on every site you make from then on.
Actions beside the field that raised them
Web
Actions created inside a form can be displayed in line with the field they came from. Turn it on at the form template level; it applies retroactively, so previous submissions of that form show their actions in line too.
One place for Rosie's tasks
Early Access
AI Agents, Company Tasks and Saved Tasks are now a single Tasks section, with Settings renamed Customize Rosie. Tasks and history moved out of modals onto full pages, and each task has a detail page showing its description, time estimate, usage limits, schedule and run history.
Improvements
Jul 23
Webhooks for incident updates
Webhooks can fire on changes to incident profiles, tied to the incident statuses — which have also been expanded.
Jul 6
More incident statuses
Incident profiles gained Investigation - In Progress, Under Review, Investigation - Approved, Pending Action, Under Appeal and Closed alongside Open.
Jul 21
Subcontractor forms in the approval flow
Form approval configuration can now include forms submitted by subcontractors. Turn on “Share with Subcontractors” in the template, then select “Include Subcontractors” in the approval configuration.
Jul 21
Deactivate workers in bulk
Select as many workers as you need with the checkboxes on the workers screen, then use the deactivate button in the bulk action bar.
Jul 29
Mark workers orientated in bulk
Company orientations now support marking workers complete in bulk, the same way site orientations already did — useful when someone completed the orientation outside Salus.
Jul 28
Lock a document field to one folder
Turn on “Lock to Folder” in a document field's configuration and choose the folder; people filling the form can then only look up documents inside it.
Jul 21
Site-required forms stay out of company orientations
Forms set to “Site Required” can no longer be added to a company orientation, so nobody gets stuck partway through one.
Jul 31
Action flags with configurable logic
Early Access users can set specific fields to require an action based on logic they define.
Jul 21
“Company User” is now “User Select”
The field type was renamed, and you can now choose whether it looks up everyone in the company or only users on the site.
Jul 20
Reset your password from your profile
Trigger a password reset email from the profile view on the web app — useful for anyone who signs in with a verification code and has never set a password.
Jul 30
A current location field for forms
A new field type captures the location where a form is being filled in, recording the coordinates along with the date, time and timezone.
Jul 31
Rosie can answer on anonymous forms
Rosie now reads anonymous form submissions, so you can ask her questions about them.
Jul 23
Schedule an agent to run on its own
A company owner can put an agent on a recurring schedule, with output landing in its run history. The agent has to be enabled for your company first, so talk to your Salus contact.
Jul 9
Custom agents built for your company
Salus can now build an agent around your own instructions and publish it to your company, without custom development. Agents produce either a PDF report or a written answer.
Jul 16
Rosie's history gets its own page
Chat history moved out of a panel onto a full page of its own, and Rosie's settings are now Customize Rosie.
Jul 27
Arabic
Forms, the Salus website and the Android app are now available in Arabic.
Jul 28
Corrective action field IDs in the API
The corrective actions endpoint returns the ID of the form field an action came from, plus the value entered in it.
Jul 28
Repeating group names in the forms API
The bulk digital forms endpoint returns the repeating group each field belongs to, so identical groups can be told apart.

Under the hood
No change you'll see, and an unusually large amount of it. The month's biggest single effort was a systematic authorization and tenancy review across the API, closing a long list of access-control gaps found by internal review — the kind of work that is invisible when it goes well. Alongside it: another 42 web portal components converted to TypeScript, a Vue upgrade and a stricter linter, container build cleanup, staging infrastructure retired, and a round of reliability work on the AI services including model fallback, PDF generation and agent infrastructure.
This article covers customer-facing changes with a completion date in July 2026. Internal tooling, infrastructure and security work is summarised under "Under the hood" rather than listed. Dates are when the work was completed, which may be slightly ahead of when it reached your account.
