Add a Worker to a Site (Mobile)

Add a Worker to a Site (Mobile)

Overview

You can manage a worker's site access directly from the Salus mobile app. This lets you grant or remove access to one or more sites from a worker's profile, without needing to open the desktop version.

This workflow is available to admins and foremen with the appropriate permissions.

Tip: If you prefer to manage site access from the desktop, see Add Workers to Sites.

Steps

  1. Tap My Toolkit in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Tap Employees.
  3. Find and tap the name of the employee you want to manage. Use Search Employees... to narrow the list.
  4. On the Employee Detail screen, tap Site Access.

The Site Access screen opens, showing the sites this employee currently has access to.

  1. Tap the pencil icon in the top right corner to enter edit mode.

A checklist of all sites in your company appears. Sites the employee currently has access to are checked.

  1. Check the box next to each site you want to grant access to. Uncheck any site you want to remove access from.
  2. Tap Update to save your changes.

Note: Changes take effect immediately after you tap Update. If you leave the screen without tapping Update, your changes are not saved.

What Happens Next

The employee's site access is updated immediately. Sites you checked will now appear in their Site Access list, and sites you unchecked will be removed. The employee can access the updated sites right away.

Frequently Asked Questions

I don't see the pencil icon on the Site Access screen. What's wrong?

You may not have the permissions needed to edit site access. Contact your Salus admin to confirm your account has the correct access level.

Can I add a worker to multiple sites at the same time?

Yes. In edit mode, check the box next to every site you want to add the worker to, then tap Update once to save all changes at the same time.

The site I'm looking for doesn't appear in the list. What should I do?

Use the Search Sites field to search by name. If the site still doesn't appear, it may not have been created yet or you may not have access to it. Contact your Salus admin.

Can I also manage site access from the desktop?

Yes. See Add Workers to Sites for the desktop workflow, which also lets you manage access from the site's Workers tab.
